Holiday Acres is a popular field trip destination for more reasons than just fun. Our mission at Holiday Acres is to provide an educational experience for all ages. Each year we feature a unique educational topic as our theme. We've covered everything from space exploration, to Tennessee state history, reptiles and amphibians, birds, Tennessee wildlife and more! To go with our theme we have a hands-on learning station, trivia in our maze and an educational talk from Farmer Brown. In the past, kids have enjoyed our simple-machines playground, seeing birds, insects and frogs up close as well as a voting station during election years, where they vote for their favorite petting zoo animal for President of Holiday Acres. Other activities we offer include a petting zoo, hay ride, Farm-to-Market learning center, and Fun Town miniature town. School groups enjoy lunch at our covered pavilion overlooking our peaceful pond.
